I have an itchy leg!
symptoms: what do I feel?
…I have an itching sensation especially where my veins are bulging.
Venous eczema can be a skin complication occurring with varicose veins. Generally, venous eczema is most likely to happen at the bottom of the leg in an area where a superficial varicose vein can be seen: naturally, the treatment of the varicose vein responsible for the eczema will make it disappear.
In the meantime, compression stockings added to the application of a cortisone cream will reduce itching and inflammation.
Be cautious though because eczema can be triggered by other diseases: therefore, this type of lesion should always be examined by a medical professional.
